PSICOPOMPO 'Synchronicity (Theory Of Carl Jung)' CD
Psicopompo is the death guide that accompanies the dying to the afterworld. Synchronicity is the occurrence of two or more events that appear to be meaningfully related but not causally related. From the conceptualization of these two themes combined, German composer/musician Hermann Kopp (of Jorg Buttgereit’s Nekromantik and Der Todesking soundtracks) and Italian Noise Experimentalist Lorenzo Abattoir (Nascitari) merge their unique compositional techniques and source equipment (Hermann Kopp: Violin, Tambourine, Electronics / Lorenzo Abattoir: Shruti Box, Timbal & electronics), leaving the results entirely to chance.

The final result is the unity of an audio event joining together 2 separate executions of melody and rhythm without any post production or added effects, bringing out the forlorn emotions of being on the journey to the new world upon death.
More remains to be heard from Pseudo Code, a Belgian threesome from the early '80s making emotional electronic music. Pseudo Code were Alain Neffe (Insane Music), Guy Marc Hinant (1/2 founder of Sub Rosa) and Xavier S. (ex-Thrills, ex-Moving Baa, vocalist extraordinaire). What you hear is what you get: first generation Pseudo Code dated 1980/81! 'The...
6-panel digipack. "My first encounter with the wonderful musical world of Alain Neffe and his gang was in the summer of 1985, the cassette Insane Music For Insane People Vol. 5. I quickly got hooked and followed the encouragement from Alain on the cover, to get in touch with him via old fashioned snail mail and ordered more cassettes from his Insane Music...

Reissue of two exquisite 80s cassettes on "Insane" comprising live and studio outtakes by Pseudo Code. I remember those releases well at the time of release back in 1984 & 1986, surprised to discover how many quality tracks had yet remained unpublished after their demise in 1982. Very proud now to see this remastered major work from the past getting a...
