Proper and overdue re-issue of a limited edition 12 cassette on Annihilvs released back in 2012. Hubrizine was two years in the making and features source material by Finland's mighty STROM.ec, undoubtedly heralded as masters of the PE oeuvre, as reinterpreted and re-engineered by Theologian, in celebration of a shared appreciation for the works of Philip K. Dick. From the opening moments, what immediately strikes you is that this probably isn't what you thought it was going to be, given the history of both acts. Sure, there are a good deal of passages of volatility and focused intensity as you might expect, but they are complimented by an equal amount of passages of hallucinatory ambience and cold, serene atmospherics. It's this very dichotomy that makes this such a masterful recording, and listening to it one sitting becomes almost mandatory just to wrap your head around the mind fuckery that unravels over its 7 tracks, as celestial drift and horizon filling textures collide with sudden eruptions of militantly hostile vocals, machine clatter, blistering frequency pulsations and writhing distortion. The title track is clearly the centerpiece here...an epic and sprawling 18 minute track of climatic and shimmering drones that disintegrates into corrosive generator hum and contorted loops with an insane vocal outburst that rivals any STROM.ec output ever created. Hubrizine clearly takes heavy electronics in a direction where few have dared go, and few will ever match. In fold out presentation folder with artwork by Andre Coelho (Sektor 304).
On Theologian's debut album for Crucial Blast The Further I Get From Your Star..., Leech established a new trajectory for his unique brand of pitch-black, rhythm-heavy industrial music that he'd previously explored with Navicon Torture Technologies. Under this new name, the power electronics and death industrial influences were merged into even darker,...
The album Wound Profile by Erik Jarl, the genius of Swedish electronics, previously released in a cassette, has now, after some processing of the record, come out as a CD in a very elegant digipack. The album consists of two record sessions: one of them (6 tracks) was recorded by Erik in 1999, while the other (one track) was recorded 18 months later....

“Inner Domain” is a third (after “Tunguska Event” and “Negative Rotation/ Intensive Fracture”) release by Jarl on Zoharum label. Artist himself often labels his music as withdrawn electronics focused on isolation. Psychedelic, chemical, unbalanced, from calm to destructive, insomnia with or without structure. In this case music was influenced by“Inner...
Another, third album by the Swedish artist in the Reverse Alignement catalog. One of the most interesting productions in JARL's discography, and certainly one of the best in this label's catalog in 2017.
Ab Intra returns to Zoharum with a new piece of music. As title suggests we’re dealing here with a continuation or an expansion of the ideas explored in Henosis I-V from 2016. “Henosis VI-XI” takes us on a sound journey that unites (as “henosis in classical Greek stands for "oneness", "union" or "unity" ) the opposites on different symbolic levels. As much...
The next eighth instalment in the IYHHH series. This time it's the MARCHOFF/DROIN album - a chronicle of their sonic experiments. "Source of Vectors" is the most uncompromising face of these two artists. Sounds in the vein of glitch, power electronics, electroacoustics and noise aesthetics can be found on the album. There is lots of dub/illbient rhythms,...

A compilation of rare tracks released on CD by Cold Spring Formed by Glit[S]ch and Baraka[H] in 1997, Troum rose from the ashes of Maeror Tri.
