Press-Kit:Officer! was founded by Londoner Mick Hobbs. His roots were in the Rock In Opposition scene of the late 70s and early 80s. Initially he worked as guitarist in The Work, subsequently he became closely associated with This Heat and their Cold Storage Studio in Brixton, working with artists like Family Fodder, Catherine Jauniaux or Zeena Parkins. The band's first album "8 New Songs By Mick Hobbs" came out in 1982 on casette only. It was followed by the second album, "Ossification". The third album, "Cough" was recorded and released in France in 1985. It is often overlooked in the band's discography, a fate that many cassette releases share. "8 New Songs By Mick Hobbs" and "Cough" have been collected to form the CD "Earlier Music", which was also made available again by Klanggalerie. Bandagen was originally released as a cassette in 1989 by Swiss label No Records. Half of the music was written for a stage play called Bandagen by Grazia Pergoletti, the other half was originally released as music by Mick Hobbs. This first CD edition has been remastered by Martin Bowes

It's been 28 years since the last album by Eric Random.... born in 1961 in Manchester, UK, Eric started his career as a member of The Tiller Boys, but soon went solo. His early albums were eletronic with a load of guitar noise, he later went purely electro (when collaborating with Cabaret Voltaire) and then moved on towards a more ethnic/world music...

Sandy tells a few words about the period: In the 1990s only small independent labels existed which had their own area to cover distributionwise hoping to spread our music in the world. "The Rhythm of the Rituals" (1994, Charnel Music) and "Ein Phallischer Gott" (1997, Crowd Control Activities) shared some songs. There were no official media supporting...
We would like to present another album in Rapoon reissue series. And this is an unusual album. Released in 2002, "Rhiz" is an album with ... dance music. Robin Storey continued to use distinctive elements for his work, such as blurry vocal samples and drones sound passages, but rhythm is in the forefront in six "Rhiz" tracks. A good ear will find here...
"Time & Form" is the debut of the duo hailing from Tri-City. The material was recorded at the turn of April and May 2018, shortly after Natt and Akton gave birth to DREN. The music on the album is characterized by eclecticism. Over the course of eight electronic works, you can hear strong influences of industrial, ritual sounds and widely understood...
Australian post-industrialists KOLLAPS are a three piece creating a unique brand of primitive noise "intended for degenerates and outsiders". This is no empty...
