Info od wydawcy:
One of Merzbow's more oppressive post-2000 releases. Even if it's still far from topping them on the intensity scale, SCSI Duck seems to bleed a certain ideology of relentlessness and consistent loudness of his mid-90s albums such as Pulse Demon into the workings of his contemporary Macbook ways. Opening with a deceptively low-key experiment with prepared guitar (a bit industrialish sounding) on top of some basic noise, the album soon rapidly descends down into a deep well of loud distortion being alternated with louder distortion, with a slight influence of loud distortion peeking up once in a while. Untitled 12 mutates into what seems like a louder remix of Ikebukuro Dada's Big Foot halfway through, supported with a slow bass drum beat which follows the track until the end. Herpos Suite appears to be an experiment with modulated & distorted loops, and doesn't really achieve anything interesting with them. That's Scuzzy Duck - pretty middle of the road as far as Merzbow is concerned, in my opinion. A good appetizer for Merznewbs perhaps.
