It's first press of HUNTING LODGE regular album released on vinyl by S/M Operations in 1987. Press-kit: Hunting Lodge was one of the earliest DIY electronic industrial bands in the American underground, formed in 1982, disbanding in '89. Formed in Michigan by Lon C. Diehl, Richard Skott and Karl Nordstrom (who left in '83), "8-Ball" was the first album in their "third wave", after adding new drummer / lyricist / engineer to the band: Helmut Robison. U.S. "Industrial" / post-rock - file next to Cop Shoot Cop, early Big Black, Babyland. Features great cover illustration by renowned artist/cartoonist Matt Howarth. This is an original sealed 1987 pressing on the band's own S/M Operations label.
